Kai and Andrei have been inseparable since they were small enough to fit in a laundry basket, their lives a seamless blend of shared secrets and unwavering support. But as they enter their senior year at Northwood High, the bedrock of their bond begins to shift when Kai realizes his feelings for Andrei have transformed into a profound, romantic yearning. This fragile new reality is further complicated by the arrival of Rose Lim, whose instant connection with Andrei threatens to push Kai to the periphery of his own best friend's life. Caught between a love he cannot speak and a friendship that is slipping away, Kai must navigate the agonizing transition of watching his "sun" find a new orbit, ultimately discovering the bittersweet freedom that comes when a lifelong chapter finally closes.
