LOSS OF MEANING

A dark corporate horror short in five scenes. When a Kenyan insurance office's after-hours quiet is broken by a supernatural visitor offering to formally partner in the business of burnout, the Boss must decide whether to sign a contract that doesn't lie about what he's already selling his employees. A quietly unsettling meditation on corporate culture, exhaustion, and complicity — told with the flat, understated dread of Faust in fluorescent lighting. Shorter version (for listings/loglines): An insurance director is offered a contract to formally underwrite the burnout his company already causes — and the hardest part is that every clause is true. Want me to add either of these to the manuscript file itself, or keep them separate for you to paste into submission forms?
