Joe Mercer inherits a mysterious mansion on the California coast with one condition: he must spend thirty nights inside it.
But Blackwood House is not empty.
As strange messages, locked rooms, and buried family secrets begin to surface, Joe realizes his grandfather didn't leave him the house because he wanted him to have it.
He left it because he wanted Joe to discover something.
And whatever is waiting inside Blackwood House has been waiting for him.
I am a writer fascinated by the darker corners of human nature—the secrets people bury, the choices that follow them, and the stories that refuse to stay buried.
Through atmospheric storytelling, unexpected twists, and characters shaped by mystery and emotion, Excel Wayne creates stories designed to pull readers into a world where nothing is ever quite what it seems.
His books explore suspense, human relationships, hidden truths, and the thin line between what we believe and what is real.
If you enjoy stories that make you question every character, suspect every secret, and keep turning pages long after you should have stopped, there is a story waiting for you here.
