The night had teeth.
On the freezing streets of the city, Flare has learned that survival comes before dignity. When a stranger named Leo offers her a warm meal and a chance to rebuild her life, she’s torn between hunger and mistrust. His world is nothing like hers, bright, controlled, and dangerous in its own way.
As their paths intertwine, Flare is forced to confront how far she will go to escape the cold. Pride, shame, and desire collide in a raw story about survival, choice, and the thin line between saving yourself and selling yourself.
The Story We Told: Flare Arc is a tense, character-driven prelude to Luke Rhains’ haunting saga of found family, resilience, and the brutal price of survival.
